The Mil Mi-24 attack helicopter entered service in the early 1970s with the Soviet Armed Forces. Characterized by its original shape and easily recognizable, it was endowed with high firepower. Its robust construction and heavy armor have allowed the Mi-24 to consolidate itself as a protagonist in the armed forces of the Eastern countries, being employed in numerous operational theatres. The Mi-24 has been subject to continuous updates to its on-board weapons and avionics systems over time. Among the developed versions, the Mi-24P "Hind-F" was equipped with a powerful 30mm fixed double-tube barrel and high shooting rate installed on the right side of the fuselage. The latest version is the Mi-35P, which started production in 2020.
